Open Developer Tools
In Chrome or Edge, press F12 and choose the Network panel. Clear existing requests before selecting a PDF.
Do not take our word for it. Watch the network.
You can verify that supported local PDF jobs do not upload your document body. The browser downloads application code and optional language/runtime assets, but your selected PDF remains on your device.
Run a PDF job
Choose Merge PDF, Rotate PDF, or another local tool. Select a test document and complete the job while Network remains open.
Inspect requests
You may see JavaScript, WebAssembly, fonts, OCR language data, analytics, or ads. You should not see a request containing your PDF file body to YourPDFJob.
Try the offline challenge
After the application has loaded and required assets are cached, disconnect Wi-Fi and run a core local tool again. Device and browser cache behavior can vary.
Analytics measures the job, not the document.
We may record anonymous events such as which tool started or completed. We do not intentionally send the PDF filename, extracted document text, or PDF contents to analytics.
